Always running

So this may not be very long because I am unimaginably exhausted.

So I was able to work it out where Christian did not have to miss church just because Lily had practice tonight. So mom and Christian had dinner at church tonight and then Rob kept Christian until he could go to his class. Lily had practice from 530-730. So that gave me 30 minutes to get Lily out of the gym and get to the church to get Christian. Very little wiggle room. Well...practice ran late. Which meant, I was late picking Christian up. Thank goodness mom just happened to call me before she left the church and Rob took her to get Christian.
I swear my life is so chaotic I don't know how I survive some times. Lily's gym is up by 295 and Collins, and you know where the church is.

But I did get to watch Lily practice some tonight and I got to watch 2 older teams practice. OMG they are good. Like they are crazy good. All of the coaches talked nice to their girls tonight too. That was nice to see. They used encouraging words. Lily is no longer a "nugget" she is happy for that. So that means no one stands on her back anymore. She is not a back spot for all the stunts. So she is happy about that. Apparently one of the older teams coaches told Lauren she was too thin to be a "nugget" and needed to be replaced with a thicker girl. Or at least that is how Lily described it to me. Regardless she is happy about it, so I am happy about it. So I told her she needed to get out there and work hard and show them she can be an awesome back spot so they will quit giving her the crappy stunts.
But it was crazy watching the team one year up from Lily doing those stunts...they were throwing those girls and catching them like it was nothing. Just no big deal at all.

Addison and I went and got some stuff for Lily's science project. Luckily I was able to find everything she was asking for. So we will start on that tomorrow and see what we can get done.

It feels good to have the bunny back. I didn't get to love on him any tonight, but maybe I can tomorrow.

O! So frustration for the night. Lily had practice tonight, which meant we were getting home late. As we're walking out the door for practice. She informs me she has the county writing test tomorrow. WHAT!? Ok...so I was slightly irritated because her coaches are teachers for Clay...so you know they knew that and scheduled practice the night before anyway and no type of notification was sent home to the parents about this. I would have never known she had testing tomorrow had she not told me this evening. It was just very frustrating. I mean I guess there is no way for us to study for it but it would have been nice to know she was walking into testing tomorrow.
