184 miles plus 2 stops at gas stations and a stop at the vet.
Stop #2 at the gas station was the best. We were just outside of Hawthorne and Lily had to use the restroom bad she couldn't keep her legs still. It was that stretch where there is absolutely nothing but houses around. I bought them both Gatorades before we left Tampa (MUH-STAKE!). I told her not to drink it all that we were not stopping on the way home. So, she drank all the Gatorade anyway. The horrible person in me could not help but laugh while she squirmed and whined AND there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. I stopped at the first gas station I found and she literally jumped out of the van to get inside.
Whiskey was so excited to get picked up. Poor thing skinned his nose all up again. The vet tech, I think she is Dr Hyler's daughter, anyway I like her a lot. But she said he tore his kennel up this weekend and she thinks he skins his nose on the concrete. I almost think I need to pack him blankets from home, maybe his bed smells like another dog? But she said he pretends to bury it and puts all his stuff on top of it. Who knows, but I feel bad he skins his nose up so bad every time he is there. I also had to get him more heart worm pills. It's crazy how expensive those things are, mainly because he is so large. But he lost a lot of weight. He weighs 90 lbs now. Yay for the first time ever, we did not get yelled at for Whiskey being overweight.
It feels so incredibly good to be home. Back to my normal chaos. I love going to see Britt and I hate that they are so far away. But it always feels good to be home. I feel like that is especially true with an infant. You have to bring your entire life with you everywhere you go.
OOOOOOOO My Goodness!!!
So Lily was talking to me on the way home, and she was talking about how she had to sleep in Hunter's bed last night. She slept on a cot the night before. I didn't really understand what she said Hunter said to her, but something about him sleeping on the cot then he put it away. So Christian and Nathan slept in bed together, and Lily & Hunter. I do not have an appropriate emoji on my computer to show my concern with that. I am sure it is all innocent, but that is my baby girl. Who is getting way too old.
But I am trying to get to bed early early tonight. I have to pick up some baby toys but then I am done for the night.
I love you! Have a good day! Good night my love
