It rained pretty much all day today, which ruined all of our plans. We did not make it to the pool today. That was slightly disappointing but luckily I didn't mention to anyone ahead of time that we were going, so they had no clue. We could try again on Monday since there is no football...
Not sure what to do with Lily...this kid...so we were packing for their dad's and she is still in her pajamas. "Lily go get dressed please" -I can't I don't have any clean clothes. (How is that possible when I did laundry on Wednesday...) "Did you bring all of your clothes down the other day when I asked you to?" -no. (UGH! this kid!) "Go upstairs and get all of your clothes so we can wash them before your dad gets here" (she comes down with 2 pairs of capris.) -This is all I could find. "that's all your clothes from upstairs" -well, no, but this is all I could find.
We seriously argued over that...just go get your clothes!
So in talking to Chris today he asked if we could be patient for that job, because it wouldn't be until closer to the end of the year that Matt gets his promotion. Which I told him was no big deal. So the wait continues. Maybe if we are lucky, football season will be over by the time I go back and I won't have to worry about mom doing too much shuffling of the kids. He also told me Eileen got a job as a 2nd grade teacher, she is pretty excited about that.
O and I forgot to tell you! I did end up having to lock Mason's bedroom door to keep the kids out. Luckily he left his room a mess when he went home, but there is still no reason for anyone else to go in there while he is gone.
Going school supply shopping with mom tomorrow, I am pretty excited! That means school is SUPER CLOSE!!!
