I'm all jacked up on mountain dew!

Today has been rough. I thought going to church would be great, it's going to be a great time. I'll get to be with our friends and it will be normal. No, definitely not normal. I was fine until everyone has to track you down to ask "how are you doing?" "Is there anything I can do to help?" "How are you holding up?" ...well crap I was fine until I got bombarded with questions. It was good though, I think I may start going to the 8am service and go to my FLG at 11. I haven't been in so long, they asked if I wanted to come back. My only issue is leaving Addison in the nursery for that hour. I don't think I am ready for that. Promotion Sunday is next week, everyone goes to their new classes. We have so many babies at 9am that they split our class. Now, instead of a walking age and they move up, once they get to an age where they could start to crawl they move up. so we will still have about 15 babies on our roll (and a whole bunch more due in September) but we are losing I think 8 (4 regulars).

Our backpacks are stuffed and ready to go.
So we packed our backpacks today. They are ready to go. Lily has so much she has to take to school she could barely zip her backpack up. Isn't that crazy? Second grade, and she has so much stuff she cannot zip up her backpack. Had to have a nice little chat with Christian today...he doesn't want me to walk him to class on the first day of school. :( that kind of hurts my heart. I had to beg him to let me go with him...our deal is I can "follow" him to class but he is going alone, and I am not allowed to tell him bye. I get it...he is big and independent...but I want my baby back. I can't even walk next to him...I have to follow him. He is super excited though...he marked his calender for Friday (the day he gets to meet his teacher). Everyone is hoping he gets Ms. Allen. Apparently she is the best kindergarten teacher (fingers crossed he gets Ms. Allen)
Putting his supplies in

Lily squeezing everything in

We might fit it all

one happy excited girl

Practicing reading marking off our list.

He didn't want his picture taken

But then he heard it was for you and changed his mind

She always wants her picture taken

So I may end up having to kill them. Their father sent them home today after he gave them mountain dew. I am so pissed I could spit nails. So no lie...this house is insane. Insane! They are climbing the walls, and everything short of their heads spinning around. They cannot sit still. And this m'fer thinks it's freaking hilarious! So I feel bad for them, because now that they are here they can't do crap because they are so sugared up. Can we have a cookie (no) can we have some juice (no) can we have...(no, let's just assume everything is no. because of your father)

We are going to see Victoria and Cooper tomorrow. I am making them a meal for dinner tomorrow...bestest friend ever right!?! I know...
Hopefully I don't mess it up and it is delicious :)

mmmm spaghetti bread

Lots of pictures today...I would say sorry, but I'm not. You like the random spaghetti bread thrown in at the end. Addison....Addison....Addison...Random food picture! But look at how pretty it is. I have never made one this pretty. Christian hated it. He didn't eat dinner at all. He said it was disgusting and just wanted plain ole spaghetti. HA! Poor guy! I used all the plain ole spaghetti in the spaghetti bread.

Well, Addison pulls her hair now. She needs to stop she's gonna have big bald spots...she starts playing on her mat and then she's screaming in pain. So I go over there and it's because she is pulling her own hair. LOL....this kid...she's funny! AND AND!!! She picked up a rattle tonight and successfully inserted into her mouth...it was an exciting moment. She didn't really pick it up, more like I was holding it and she grabbed it.

I love you baby and I miss you so much!! I hope I get to talk to you soon!
