We had a nice day. The kids actually slept in a little. I think they got up around 8. So then we went to the pool. Still never found the key. I turned Christian into a delinquent...he broke in for us. Addison had a good time. She wore herself out and then took an extremely good nap on one of the chairs.
So I had an epic fail planning Christian's birthday party. So I booked the place today...which it should be a lot of fun. But it WAS on 103rd...it still said it was located on the westside. So I didn't question it. I pay for it...get it all booked and everything. Then I get the confirmation for his party...saying don't forget we are now located on Pecan Park Rd...WHAT!?! That is out by the airport! I was so mad. But nothing I can do about it now, their site said once it is paid for it is nonrefundable you can only reschedule. So we will just have to see how it works out. I also made his birthday invitations. They turned out really good. I will email them to you tomorrow so you can see them, don't really want to list my phone number on the internet. He has to give the final ok saying he like them but I am sure he will. He better be more appreciative towards me after all this crap and realize how much his mama loves him. I have 40 cupcakes sitting in the kitchen waiting to be decorated for football tomorrow then I have to make 20 more to take to school on Wednesday.
So now time for the really fun stuff. I am going to start with...I really hope this is not a trend for what this deployment is going to be like at home...
yup. that is water...lots of it |
because the pipe broke to the sink |
Pastor Bobby started a new sermon series and the first sermon was called "When it rains...God provides" and all I could think tonight was I wanted to say "When it rains it pours" but my mind kept automatically changing it to "God provides". So it will be ok...it will get fixed...it's not that bad. It could be much worse, and I will be taken care of.
I love you and I miss you. Have a great day
