Hooray for fall

Today was so nice! It was like 80 all day, nice breeze. Felt like fall a little. So I decided to make a pot of chili to celebrate.
 I also was able to make Addison some apple juice and apple baby food. Well she really isn't going to have the apple juice. So that will probably be for me and the kids. It is so good! It has absolutely nothing in it beside apples and water. She did have a teeny tiny bit of the juice today just because I wanted to see what she thought.

Then she decided to surprise me by showing me she can hold her bottle now :(

So Christian apparently has a "girlfriend"...not real happy about that. She drew him a picture and put it in his backpack the other day. So he made one for her as well. Anyway so the other day Lily was talking about her and this is how that conversation played out.
C "don't talk about her, you don't even know what she looks like. She looks awful!"
Me "Christian!! That is not nice at all."
C "What! It's true... I mean I still like her. But I'm just using her as my back up until I find somebody I really like"

I was shocked! Who is this boy I am raising, and how does he already know about "the backup"?

Well apparently bribing the kids with money will actually get stuff accomplished around here

I'm sure you remember what it looked like before. I did not go upstairs all day. They did this all themselves.

 This is what I get to wake up to everyday. It is the sweetest, she is always so happy.

She was playing in the living room....and then she was asleep. Super cute!
