I swear taking them there today took more out of me than them. :(
I am exhausted.

So I thought I would be nice, since this is the last few days of Christmas break. They were allowed to sleep in their sleeping bags again and watch movies. Only this time they spent more time walking up and down the stairs than they did watching movies and enjoying their privileges. I finally had to get on Lily to keep them upstairs. I just don't get it. I am not even doing anything. I am in bed. So it's not like whatever I am doing is more fun than what they are doing.

O and I swear I am so over dealing with this shop that I ordered the girls' outfits from for Christmas. I put a dispute in on paypal and she finally responded to me. Denied my partial refund request. But responded to me. So I put the refund request in again, DENIED! Now the heifer wants to argue that I got all my outfits and what the real problem is. Are you serious!? Are you serious right now? This lady here...o man! I cannot even explain how furious this makes me. I am seriously one more interaction away from just filing the dispute with the bank. I thought paypal was supposed to be safer? Well safer maybe...but heaven forbid you have an issue you need resolved.

Not much more to report today. Other than feeling like that shop is lucky they don't have a phone number available, today was good. I think we are going down to Jacey's for New Year's, but ummmm no wine for me thanks. LOL

ear piercing

So...I am playing with the idea of getting Addison's ears pierced. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?
I thought about it the other day while we were at the mall, but I wasn't prepared to do it then. I figured I would revisit the thought at a later date. But before I even consider it I was curious what you thought. I may have to wait until you get back to do it....I cry every time she gets shots, I would probably cry when she got her ears pierced too.

Poor sweet baby she really isn't feeling well. I think it may just be a sour tummy. It may be nothing but a virus but just in case. She had some crackers at my sister's house the other day, they might have had too much salt for her, and then she had the butter on her waffles. Well there will be no more of that anymore. She never poops in her diaper when she sleeps...well not never...but hardly ever. Well she did last night and because she didn't wake up to get her diaper changed. Now she has a diaper rash. :-( UGH! I hate that! Hate it. That coconut oil balm that I made was making it better...until...she pooped again. I feel so bad for her...this is her first diaper rash. 

He is just so stinking cute, right!?! I think he is starting to like me more. He let me hold him for a long time today and then didn't act like a spazz when I went to put him back in his cage. I was told bunnies like to play in boxes. Like cut holes in them so they can hop in and out and hide and stuff, and that they like bells and balls. We have all of those items. So I am going to be looking on those yard sale pages for a play yard thing for him. Whiskey gets way too excited when he is on the floor, and I don't want Whiskey to smash him. O and his name is Stormy now. Christian is mad about that, he liked Mistletoe.

I am trying very hard to not lose my motivation. But the kids wanted to sleep in their sleeping bags tonight. So I am letting them sleep in the playroom and watch movies. Well...it is almost midnight, and they are still up watching movies! This could work one of two ways, they can wake up at normal time and be holy terrors, but we all make it to the gym. Or they sleep in which means we all sleep in and don't go to the gym. I am not sure which one I want. Probably the latter because I don't want any terrors over here.

But...I am going to bed. I can't hang with these young crazy kids. I went to tell them good night and they panicked thinking I was making them go to sleep. "Well be fine we promise. why? why are we going to sleep"

sick baby

How do you end just a peachy day???

Well...it's funny you should ask. Well there are two ways to end just a fan-freaking-tastic day.

 1) your baby being sick and vomiting on you...multiple times

 2) your cork breaking in your wine bottle.

I could cry.

I am not sure what is wrong with Addison. I hope maybe she just has an upset tummy. But she did not spit up on me...She threw up on me. Over and over again. I don't think any of the other ones vomited on me. But she did. Poor thing. I had to hold her until she fell asleep. She laid on my chest with a blanket between us and cried and puked one more time on me. I got a new blanket and she drifted off to sleep. But she hasn't vomited since she fell asleep. Hopefully she is will be ok tomorrow. 

So, it's a sad sad day. Our popcorn maker broke. :( I made popcorn for Christian and myself last night and I am not sure what happened but the gears broke. It fell apart when I tried to wash it. I am really upset about it.

Also...irritating fact. The cat let herself get all matted and mangy all summer. Now...she is pulled HUGE fur mats off of herself and she leaves them all over the house. YAY! It's so exciting (insert sarcasm)

Christian got stung by a wasp today on the 4wheeler. Poor guy. But he was tough...he didn't cry and swore it was only a mosquito.

Movie Night

Well today sucked. It was self inflicted but it sucked!
I was hoping I would get to talk to you again.

So I picked the kids up from their dad's today and we went straight to my sister's so the kids could exchange gifts.
So we hang out there for a little while, and well...when we leave lily stays behind. She's been gone all weekend and now she is at my sister's. Which I guess is fine, but I would like to see you too. O well...what can you do? I bet she is having fun. So Christian and I did movies and popcorn tonight.
He doesn't understand that he cannot just pick up the phone and call you. But he wanted me to tell you he said good night.

O Alicia got me an Alex and Ani bracelet for Christmas. I love it, it is so super pretty! Now I want more. LOL.

Christmas

has come and gone. I am exhausted. Like completely exhausted.
I am so ready for bed I can barely keep my eyes open.

Addison I think has separation anxiety, or at least stranger anxiety. She freaked out today at Tonya's. Anytime I would leave her sight she freaked. The only person she liked that I could leave her with was my Uncle Ricky. Not even Tonya or Tom...only Uncle Rickey. So today at their house was even exhausting. But it was nice, everyone had already left by the time I made it out there.

So Whiskey is a HORRIBLE guard dog....HORRIBLE! We were walking outside before bed and we walk back to the back. Well apparently there was a critter of some sort in the bushes back there...I heard it and saw it move...Whiskey never heard it or saw it. Didn't even notice the bushes moving...this dog...thank goodness nothing attacked us. I would have known before him.

I really enjoyed getting to spend Christmas morning with you. Thank you for calling. It really meant a lot to Christian too, he was upset Christmas Eve that you wouldn't be here. So getting to talk to you and share this morning with you made his day.
Everyone liked all their stuff too. They are actually ok on the skateboards. No one has had any nasty falls yet, but I will give that time.
They went and saw Star Wars today...turds! That made me jealous. Christian liked it, Lily said it was kind of scary...which I can probably see. But I still want to see it.

Well Mistletoe's name is probably going to be changed. They went back to the drawing board today, and said they would think of one better. So we will see. Poor thing...he is back to Mr. No name.

24 hours of a Christmas Story

Woo Hoo!

One of the best parts of Christmas!

So Mr. No name has a name. The kids decided to name him...Mistletoe the Christmas Bunny. It's kind of long, but it's cute.

 HOLY SHORT DRESS! :( I am super disappointed in my purchases from that boutique. This dress is supposed to fit girls sizes 8-12. Now I know my child is not large and if she sneezed in that dress the whole town would see her business. But she was happy in it, so she put on black tights and we called it a day. She felt very special in her specially ordered Christmas dress. That is all that matters.

 Live Nativity at the Christmas Eve service. It was very nice. The church was able to pretty much fill up the stadium at the high school.

So we ran into Hunter tonight. Actually let me rephrase that...the kids saw him and made me chase him down. I felt like a stalker. He was next to us the entire way home, AND the entire way home Lily and Christian were trying to get his attention. They kept saying GET EM! Honk your horn! Go Faster he's getting away!
I felt like a complete creeper. But we got to see him. The kids were so excited. Christian told him, you're not too far from me...I'm riding my scooter here all the time! He said we're family you have to like me. LOL. Not necessarily true.

Meet Mr. No name

He is so cute! I just love him to death! He seems very social. He was so happy when we got home...he was standing on his hind feet looking out at us. We held him for a little while and let Whiskey check him out some, and then we put him back. I don't want to overwhelm him...I am sure it traumatic enough having his home moved. Chester was not impressed with the bunny. But Whiskey seems ok so far.
So far Mr. No name's options are Juno, Velvet, Smokey, Midnight, Darkness, and Mr. Turbo Junie.
I told the kids we would make a list and eliminate them until we narrowed it down. Any Suggestions?

We spent all.day.long out at Tonya's. It was fun but it was nice to get home. I think I may go back out there on Christmas after the kids leave. That way I don't have to sit home alone on Christmas. We'll see. That part of the family is HUGE and might be too much for Addison. But her truck is the "Big Horn" edition. I didn't look at it because it was raining but they both love them.

 Such a goofball...just always goofy and crazy.

 They're making the same face. HA! Poor Addison...I definitely think she is teething. She was tired and miserable and chewing on everything. Hopefully they come in fast and she can get some relief.

Never mind me...I am just standing here playing with my toy.
She can't crawl but she can stand.

 Breakfast time! I love taking pictures of her eating...she is so dang cute! I can't stand it.

 Sweet girl...she gets to wear summer clothes because it is so hot. Well I say so hot...it was only like 80.

 She loves Whiskey so much. They are so sweet to each other.

Guess who took a pacifier tonight...I think she has more teeth coming in. Because she typically doesn't take them at all. Doesn't even play with them, but today she has been chewing on them and tonight at bed time she took it. She also has been drooling a lot more, maybe she has more teeth coming in. We'll see.

Here he is! O MY GOODNESS! I cannot wait to get this baby. I told the kids dad he was going with them to his house, but I think I may keep him with me.

So I don't think I followed the recipe correctly, or maybe I didn't read it right. The recipe says this is 4 servings. But maybe it means 4 servings a piece? It was super good. We have another "family favorite" Christian had 3 plates. It was kind of spicy, but it was good.

I think we are going to go to Sanderson tomorrow to see Tonya and Tom. We haven't been out there in a little while. So the plan in the morning is to go to the gym, get the bunny, then off to Sanderson after lunch.
It sort of sucked that we didn't get to talk again after the calls kept dropping. :(

Gingerbread house

It is probably the ugliest gingerbread house ever...

But the kids has so much fun making it. A couple of the gumdrops were jumpers, which made Christian made. I think this is the first year we actually made a gingerbread house...we always talk about it and never do it.

So I have come to the conclusions that apparently I am really stressed. So the kids just sprung on me tonight that they invited the neighbors to dinner...didn't ask me...just did it. I was pretty upset at first. Because I was planning on surprising the kids and taking them to nights of lights in St Augustine...well obviously that didn't happen. We had to have a nice little talk about asking permission before you invite people over. In the end it worked out and the kids had fun.

 So we may have decided against the bunny, but it does not stop me from wanting one. How cute is that thing!? It won't get any bigger. They even confirmed just how much I did not want them to have that bunny too. I asked them to give the dog food and water. Lily "I did it last time." Christian got up to do it. Lily "yea...you have to do it, because I already did it. So I'm not doing it again." Welp...way to prove to me y'all will take care of this sweet little bunny. UGH! But how cute is it..

She is so sweet. She went to bed super early tonight. O and she is not impressed with spaghetti noodles. LOL. I guess they are too little for her right now. She was grabbing them by the handful and shoving them in her mouth, but once she didn't have enough for handfuls she got frustrated.

Santa and Firetrucks

 So Lily and Christian learned how to play pool today. They actually aren't too bad for little kids.

 Apparently there was a bad accident on 95. It took us 3 hours to get home. But if I had to be stuck anywhere...I am glad it was right here as the sun went down.

 He is so sweet to her. He loves his baby sister so much.

 Some better pictures of her new little jacket. I have Mason's all wrapped up for him. But since it's been "so cold" lately who knows when he'll actually get to use it.

Apparently Santa rides around Fernandina on a fire truck handing out goodies to the kids. It was pretty cool.

Today was a long long day. It was nice to see Dennis and Tina today. They said we need to come visit them...but they suggested not to drive. I think they said it took 35 hours to get from their house to their daughter's. WOAH! That's a long drive.
But, day's like today just wear me out. Lily and Christian were really good, towards the end of the day they had a moment. But they were good. Now I am exhausted. From being gone all day I had to come home and clean. So atleast now I will get to go home to a clean house.
 It was sweet I told Christian how tired I was and how I had to go downstairs and clean. In his overly tired sleepy voice he says "here let me get up and help you. That way we can both go to bed early"
I told him he needed to go to sleep but there would be plenty he could help me with tomorrow.

But I am going to bed. I love you so much! I miss you!

Life after Revenge?

She is in to everything, everywhere, always. I can't leave anything, anywhere, anymore.

Well Revenge is over. I am so sad. They killed everyone I liked. All the ones I was attached to. I started feeling guilty at the end, that maybe if I didn't like them they wouldn't have gotten killed off the show. Now what am I going to do...Revenge is over. It was really good.

So the start of Christmas break and the kids got sent to bed early. We didn't get to make our gingerbread house. Apparently they were tired because they didn't even fight it. They were fighting, not listening. Our day together started good, but man all of sudden, it turned crazy. We went for a pretty long bike ride...we came back to the house once because I didn't realize how cold it was going to be. So I had to get Addison's hat and stuff. She had so much fun...she squealed most of the time we were out, the rest she was laughing and talking. I guess a bike ride might have to become more regular. Somehow tonight I ended up with six kids in the house...SIX? how does that happen?! I kept telling them to play outside, but they all went upstairs. They played quietly and they were all so sweet. I guess they could have been hellians...but my goodness six kids. A couple of them, I had no idea who they were...they went and asked their parents if they could come here and they said ok. Who does that?! They don't know me...what if I was some sort of freak? I'm sorry but if the roles are ever reversed, lily and christian cannot play at their house. I don't know where their house is or who they are.

Better to give than to receive.

So Lily and Christian decided they wanted to spend their money to get their mimi Christmas presents. Very thoughtful Christmas presents too. So they mentioned it to me when I picked them up that they wanted to go shopping for mom and they promised they would pay me back (they did). But we went and they took FOREVER to pick out the gifts they wanted for her. UH I JUST LOVE THESE KIDS AND THEIR BIG HEARTS SO MUCH! So we have what they think are the perfect gifts for my mom.

Lily hasn't been feeling well today. I really hope she is not getting sick but I think she is. She was complaining about having a headache, and then she just started to look bad. So we went home and she immediately took a shower and got dressed for bed, AT 4PM! She barely ate dinner, and then went straight to bed around 7. I feel bad for her...I hope she feels better.

Sugar Rush

Tonight was awful. Horrible. If I ever go to a buffet again....it will be too soon. It was as bad as I thought it was going to be. I lived my worst nightmare tonight.
It was insane. I never knew the all star gym was big. We had almost the entire restaurant and it was loud and chaotic.
So Christian and Riley are quite insane when they get together and of course they are too cool to sit with their moms. So they sat at a table behind us...well...Golden Corral has windows between the sections. So...cheerleaders everywhere! Well there were 2 cheerleaders sitting on the other side of the window. Christian and Riley were flirting with them...until...the girls got up and sat with them. (OMG! Is this happening already?!) So Riley clammed up, he was no longer so bold...Christian on the other hand...he turned into this smooth, funny, playful young man. MAKE HIM STOP! So the girls got up to go to the restroom together...ofcourse. Well Christian and Riley were sitting next to each other, Christian moves so when the girls come back they have to sit next to the boys.
I don't like this. I don't like this at all. Remember how I said we were going to lock Lillian up like Rapunzel...I changed my mind...I think it is Christian we are going to have to lock up.
O but back to the nightmare that is a public buffet. BARF! So anyway...the boys had a ton of sugar. A TON! So I was taking them back to the dessert part so they could get something. We had no idea what was up there...so I figured I would check it out...maybe get something with them. So we walked up there. Well they have a huge chocolate fondue fountain...of course the boys wanted part of that. So we were walking around looking for the marshmallows and stuff and that's when I see it...these girls holding their hands in the chocolate fountain, licking the chocolate off their hands, then replacing it in the fountain. OMG! Even thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

So I said it before...but I have to say it again. I love just how giving and caring Lillian and Christian are. They went to this Christmas party knowing that they were going to receive gifts...but they were more excited to give their gifts that they picked out for their friends. I love that. I do love that they love to give. I didn't get a chance to tell you. I talked to them about the offering at church for missionaries. I told them I would match them dollar for dollar. I gave them 24 hours to think about it. We talked about it again the next day and both of them gave 50% of what they have in their piggy bank. That was awesome to have that talk with them and watch them make that decision.

Christmas Treats

 mmmmm treats for the kids to take to school tomorrow. Delicious puppy chow.

 And...coal. It looks better now that I have cut it. but this was right after I made it so it was still hot.

 She is eating veggie "crunchies" and this one is stuck to her shirt. But her hands are full of additional crunchies so she is trying to just eat it off her shirt. LOL. It was funny.

 I found a note Christian wrote to Lily. LOL!

 She was so tired at dinner time.

This was after she threw all her food everywhere. Everywhere. Whiskey eats well now.

So I got that book today and I learned that I am bilingual.

Today was nice, it went great. If everyday could be like today. We watched Charlie and the chocolate factory. Well the kids watched most of it. I watched the end.
Tomorrow night we have the cheer Christmas party at...wait for it...wait for it. Golden Corral.
UGH! REALLY!?! Why? Gross!
But the girls are doing a secret Santa thing, so Mattie and I decided to let the boys exchange gifts so they wouldn't be left out. It is probably bad enough that they will be at a cheer party with probably 70 girls. So we figured this would be something fun for them as well.
