T'was the night before school started...

I am so ready for school tomorrow! SO READY! Lily and Christian are so excited. Christian is a typical man and went right to sleep...lily is too excited to sleep. She let me do her hair again...hopefully she doesn't mess it up while she sleeps or we are going to have an awful morning!
I tried to do as much prepping for the morning as I could. Snacks are packed, lunches are prepped, all I have to do is get the kids/baby ready and make sandwiches. So I missed my first homework assignment for kindergarten. Apparently Ms. Allen sent us home with some construction paper that I was supposed to make a cut out hand. It was a cute idea but I saw it maybe an hour ago...so I had to cut out and decorate a hand for Christian to take to school tomorrow. It is ok...not as good as it could be, but better than nothing.

2 snacks for 2 "big kids" :(

lunches are prepped

my hand looks like it has chicken pox

So, Ms Addison is trying to change her bed time on me. I think she forgot who runs this show. For the past couple nights she has been staying up until 1030-1100. But we can't be havin all that nonsense, especially if she wants to wake me up at 700, she needs to give me more down time at night. Tonight though she was in the living room playing and talking and just making all sorts of noise while I was decorating my hand and getting everything ready for tomorrow. Well all of a sudden all the noise stopped...so I went out there to check on her. This is what I see...

Jeez! Is she not the cutest thing you've ever seen!? She is so stinkin sweet, I can't stand it. I definitely can't stand to part with her. I don't think I am going to leave her in the nursery again for a while. She was fine, but I just like having her with me. I really only left her because she slept the entire first hour and I didn't want her being all chatty in church. But now I think I just don't care. Baby steps right...I did one week, and next month I'll do another week.
Today she was sitting in her bouncer and Lily found some pieces of a baby toy (all the pieces) but it stacks together and has a rattle on the top. Anyway so Lily found it, and Addison was sitting in her bouncer. So I put the toy in front of her on the tray and she stared at it for a long time, well finally she decided to reach out and grab it. But she didn't actually hold on to it, she grabbed it and let go because I assume the rattle scared her. But when she let it go it rattled more and really scared her. She was so upset, it was adorable and sad all at the same time. I have never seen a baby get scared like that...you should have seen her little face and that cry! O NO! That reminds me, she has to get shots tomorrow...I don't know if I am going to be able to handle that cry. :( My poor baby...what are we going to do!?!

So I have a few pictures from when we went to see Tonya and Tom. It was nice, we spent the day out there with them. They have a bunch of chickens now, so we got some eggs! YAY! O and they did both get new trucks. His is chrome and hers is black. But my little sister came over, so I got to see her. I haven't see Ashley in...I don't know how long. It's been more than a year.

and this is after she gave ashley 12 and us 18!

Addison with Pee-paw and Nanny
So we decided to go through some old pictures while I was there...O-M-G! It was awful! Some of the gems she has stashed away...
Shame of my mama for not doing my head! SEE! This is what I am trying to tell Lily, I torture you because I don't want you to have pictures like this when you grow up. Check at that dress too! HAHA! Awful!

But it was nice to talk to you today. Sorry I talk your ear off every time you call...I kind of miss having you around. You're a big deal to me :)
I love you and I miss you and I cannot wait until you can come home!

A day late...

Sorry I missed yesterday.

I was tired...I did some math work. Honestly I did school work until I could not think straight and then I just went straight to bed. Sorry :( It hasn't even been a month yet and I already skipped a day.

Omygoodness...I feel like I am in a house full of pregnant women today. There has been yelling and fighting and arguing and crying and begging for food left and right. It is awful. I am making Lily take a nap, she is wayyyyyy too emotional for me today. As I type this they are eating lunch across from me and Lily is sitting sideways in her chair, her back to Christian "because she hates him"

I left Addison in the nursery this morning :(
She was fine...I was not. I don't think I was ready for that.

I will make you another post later. I have some pictures from yesterday to post, but I wanted to tell you sorry for not posting anything yesterday.

I miss you!

Orientation and Pep Rally

Orientation went well today! Christian got Ms. Allen...YAY! Everyone we ran into that asked who his teacher was all said how lucky he was to have Ms. Allen. He definitely changed his mind about me walking him to class too. I might actually get to do it the entire first week! WOOT WOOT! His class is really difficult to get to though...it is the very last class on the furthest hallway. Why would you put a kindergarten class down there!? I would think they would all be right up front.

Lily got Ms. Hagans. I don't know much about her but just from talking to her she seems like she will be a good match for Lily. She is so excited about going back on Monday! I am excited for them, and excited to get them out of the house...maybe now I can get some stuff accomplished! Mom starts back at the school week 2, I can't tell who is more excited her or Lily.

The pep rally was a lot of fun, nothing special. Lots of food, and goodies. The kids got introduced and the girls got to do a cheer. It was cute. Addison was wonderful...she just hung out in her stroller and looked cute. Christian apparently collided with one of the MUCH OLDER football players and busted his nose. poor thing! He has a big bruise on his cheek and had a bloody nose. I swear, can't take this kid anywhere...

Not much else...today was extremely busy. I honestly only spent 2 hours at the house today. I am exhausted and will be running all around tomorrow too. I'm ready for a break!

I hope I get to talk with you soon...I miss you.

Painting with the Chaos Kids

Today was interesting.

First, I got woken up at 945!!!! By the door bell... I couldn't believe the kids let me sleep that long. Then, I was surprised Addison slept that long...but who's at the door!? It was the lawn care man...asking for money. HAHA! Then I felt bad, I told him I was waiting on the contract and bill so I knew who to send the payment to. He looked shocked...you never got a bill? -No. You never got your contract? -No. O ok...I'm so sorry to bother you I will take care of that. I gave him a check...and deep down I was glad he rang the door because how long would the kids have allowed me to sleep...
I really am thankful they are letting me sleep, but I feel bad because I feel like I am wasting our last few days together before school starts.
I think these late night practices are what is keeping Addison in bed so long. Almost every day this week she is sleeping until 9 or after.

So I decided after that, that I would do the paint project with the kids. Something that could be fairly fun that they could do. It was stressful but apparently they LOVED it, and are looking for the perfect spot for their pictures. That makes all the frustration of trying to teach them how to do it go away. It was so worth it now to know that they enjoyed it so much.

Tomorrow is orientation!!! That means school is almost here! I am excited to meet the kids teachers! Christian is SO EXCITED! We are going to lunch before the orientation, I figured it is our last chance to go out before school...so we are going to Tijuana Flats then orientation. Pep Rally is tomorrow night too! That means last free weekend until we are swamped with football games! YAY!

So Christian jammed his fingers tonight, that was scary...I thought he broke his freaking fingers...I was trying to bend his fingers for him and his ring finger was not wanting to bend and then when I did get it bend, it wasn't bending straight. It was nasty. Coach was all freaked out. Christian had to sit out the first half of practice waiting on the swelling to go down.
But I did have a proud parent moment out there...they had him on the offensive line a little bit tonight paired up with a guy twice his size...no lie! Christian looked teeny tiny next to this kid. Well, not one time did Christian get knocked down or let that kid by him. Christian was pushing him all around...straight up man handled him! I was so proud. THEN...they had him at running back and...he got tackled for the first time...you know how that ended. HAHA! He was so upset...because he did not think it would hurt that bad and he didn't understand why more than one person had to jump on top of him... I just told him that's why he has on all those pads...to protect him. He was ok though just needed a minute.

OK...lots of pictures now :-) I love you and I wish you could be here with us!

We still havin practice...

That meme just makes me laugh every time I see it. But it is definitely how I felt today. It was pouring today...but we still practiced.

Have you ever had one of those time when it felt like everything was trying to go against you? I feel like I am having one of those weeks...I am trying to battle against it. But it feels like something is always trying to make my day bad. Stupid stuff too. I am just tired.

The bug people came out and sprayed today, and go figure as soon as they spray I find a HUGE spider that we apparently have been living with for I don't know how long. He still hasn't died, as I type this he is staring at my from the glass door.

Nothing too exciting today. Lots of laundry...yay!

It's hard to believe she is almost 3 months. She is so happy, and funny. Not often but every now and then now if you make noises at her she tries to copy you. Especially with Lily and Christian...it is funny watching her she loves them so much.

O.M.G! HAHA! So it was raining at practice today...and Lily was using someone's umbrella. Well she was running with it and tripped she falls face first into the mud and completely destroys their umbrella. It was hilarious and it sucked all at the same time. Now I have to replace an umbrella...LOL. Poor Lily though...she is such a train wreck.

Ok...well I am exhausted and my computer is about to die. I love you and I hope you have a good day tomorrow.

I WIN!

First, it was so good to talk to you today. I have missed talking to you. :)

We got a new mouth guard today. Christian lost the strap to his other one that connects it to his helmet, I think I told you that though. Big Surprise! Right? But you cannot just buy the straps to put on the helmets. I am so glad that we did get a new mouth guard though. Apparently they make flavored mouth guards! WHATTTTT!!!!!! Christian was so excited! He picked out his flavor and we fit it to his mouth and he could not wait to get on the field and use it. PARENTING WIN! It also has one of the straps that doesn't disconnect from his mouth guard like the other one, so he cannot just yank it of his face mask when he gets mad.

O Yea! Check that out!

Not much else happened today. Practice got called due to weather, it stormed here for a good 2 hours. And we ended our night watching Harry Potter. I am so exhausted today though, I don't sleep well lately. I just stay up all night...not sure why. I am going to try and get to bed earlier tonight. I have a few pics from today but not many.

OH! So remember I was telling you that Christian doesn't give it his all on the field. His coach was riding his ass tonight. It was great! The entire time I was out there...all I heard was "PUMP IT CHRISTIAN GO, DON'T SLACK RUN CHRISTIAN! I SAID RUN!" "FULL SPEED, NOT HALF! FULL! YOU CAN RUN FASTER THAN THAT CHRISTIAN!"
It was nice. It was also nice to know that he CAN have someone yelling in his face like that and not get discouraged. He worked harder. Maybe I need to start running the house like a football practice. Every attitude gets 10 push ups. They would be in such good shape.

Oh man that reminds me...so mom was here today and I was rushing Lily out the door for dance and mom was telling her bye. She said "Bye my little cheerleader." To which Ms. Diva replies "Do NOT call me a cheerleader." I said "why not you are a cheerleader." She said "just don't call me one...I HATE being called a cheerleader" (and think we haven't even hit puberty yet) I don't think I am going to survive her being a teenager...she is all kinds of sassy and "attitudey"

Nothin but pads

Cooking...

I feel like majority of today was spent in the car and in the kitchen. We went to see Victoria today and little Cooper. He is extremely little. I already don't remember Addison being that little. Because I look at her now and she still seems so small, but he is definitely much smaller than she is. But I made them dinner tonight, apparently Victoria doesn't know how to cook. So I made them chicken and broccoli stuffed shells...it looked amazing, they said it was good. I hope so

Good, right?!

But Victoria and Darren actually live right down the road from where my dad's house was. So I took the kids back there, it was nice. everything looks pretty much the same with the exception of the fence being down.

It felt weird not having football tonight...only cheer. I actually got to sit and talk to Mattie tonight instead of just exchanging kids and jumping back into the car. They are having a voluntary practice tomorrow for football and I am not 100% sure I want to deal with it. But then I don't want Christian to miss out, I feel like an extra practice would not hurt him. Who knows...

So, I sat down this weekend and thought about how I had not been planning meals like I should. I am changing that starting this week. Tonight we had Cilantro, Lime Chicken w/ Tomato Avocado Salsa and corn. It was really good, and I was really surprised when the kids ate ALL of the Salsa. I only gave them a little bit to start out with and they ended up eating the entire bowl. I had to take pictures for proof because I knew you wouldn't believe me other wise!

I honestly think the world may be coming to an end, the kids ate tomatoes and avocados...ANDDDDD Lily actually let me play with her hair today. It was amazing...and fun. I don't ever get to actually do her hair without having to torture her.

And she didn't even cry!

FINALLY getting a nap in

Such a sweet happy baby!

I don't like him!
