Murderer!!!

Sorry I didn't write you last night. I am so unimaginably tired this week. I am going to be a burnt out mess by the time you get back.

So I stepped on a toad tonight. OMG! I don't think I could be more devastated. I told Jacey I would dog sit this weekend. Because they went down to see the Braves play the Yankees (that's the game I wanted to take the kids to :( ) Anyway so it started raining, so I drove down there real quick to let her dogs out and I came back and I stepped on a toad. I am so very sad. I murdered him. :'(

Other than that today was uneventful. Baseball was cancelled again. Which is good because I am exhausted. We have a tournament at home this weekend but it is supposed to rain all weekend long. So maybe not.

Mason and I are going to try...TRY...and plant some vegetables. We decided tonight we are going to go buy the stuff tomorrow to plant them. Hopefully they live. LOL.

Mixed Feelings

Well it sucked that our call got dropped. I kept hoping you would call back. O well...maybe tomorrow.

Anyway. So what to do, what to do...
The first day in the branch went well. It was uneventful. We hired that kid this morning. He was fantastic. I hope he turns out to be a good teller too, because he seems amazing so far.
But...I don't think I am a fan of the other one that I do not know. She seems...idk...lazy. Like a bare minimum person.
She was rude. I am not impressed so far. I mean you would think if your "new manager" was observing you for the day you would be on your A game right? She knows everyone except me...let me make a good impression. Ummmmm no. Didn't even complete the basic functions of her customer service role. She doesn't speak in complete sentences which is irritating. "How can I help?"
What? how you can you help? Help with what? Is it really so hard to add the "you" at the end of that sentence?
I'll have to tell you more on the phone. But I was not impressed.

I have heard so many bad things about where I am and the people that are there in the week I have been back. That makes me sad, because we were the place to beat. We were number 1 in everything and now...now we suck. Now people hear our name and go "your people need more training" that makes me sad.

But I got my orchid! It is pretty! I hope I don't kill it. And...AND...I can't get Thanksgiving off for competition. Now what? I guess I am going to have to see if Mattie or Lauren can take her. But I am really, really sad that I am going to miss it. O well...I guess I will figure something out.

Another first day

So tomorrow is my first day in the branch. I don't get too long. I get today and tomorrow. Then back to training...yay!

So Addison is pulling up on everything now. Everything. If she can get her chubby little hands on it she is going to use it to stand up. Mom said she can stand up on her crib now. I haven't seen it but I can believe it because she was trying to do that last week. Guess I will have to move her crib mattress down this weekend.

So I forgot to tell you that this weekend may start the weekends of me having the kids 100% now. I kind of got a "this is probably going to happen this weekend" text the other day. But I haven't heard anything else since then. So we'll see.

Mattie and I were asked to be the team moms for cheer this year. I said yes...it couldn't possibly be too hard, and between myself and Mattie we can get it covered. Plus that means no working the gate for us...what what!!!! That's exciting. O and I guess I am going to have to set up a special account just for cheer. Because Lauren was saying that the hotel prices for nationals and regionals are ridiculous. And we have to stay at the hotels we are issued...she said this past season the price for A room was $350+ dollars when they went down there. That is CRAZAY!!!! So at least if I plan now, it will still suck just not as bad.

Exhausted!
Absolutely exhausted!
I needed to do laundry today...none of that got done.
I swear it feels like the laundry is never ending in this house. Ever! There is always laundry to do. It never ends.

There is not much to say since I got to talk to you earlier. Everyone was exhausted.

O when I got home Mike met me in the front yard and said he saw the sprinkler was messed up and offered to fix it. So I am pretty sure he replaced it today. I talked to them for a long time but then I went in with the kids and didn't see them again. He didn't fix the time because I told him I wasn't worried about it. I said we would worry about that another day but that I did need to get the sprinkler head fixed. I am going to check it before I go to bed to see if it works. I hope so. I just thought it was funny that we were just talking about that and he met me in the driveway as I pulled in offering to fix it.

I finally found someone to keep the kids tomorrow if mom is still sick. Took me all day but I found someone. I try not to ask a lot for favors but it is nice to know she will help when I need her. Then I remember all the times she asks me to help at church so I shouldn't feel guilty...lol...if she couldn't do it she would say no right.

night game

I was so excited for a night game tonight. Hooray. Our first game under lights. How exciting. WRONG...just wrong! All the boys were crazy. Just crazy. Wild. They were climbing the fences, running around being insane. Not listening, running in and out of the dugout. I was tempted to lock them in the dugout.
We lost. It was sad. We were doing so well, then we had that one bad inning and that was it, we lost it. Christian got a good hit...but he was chased down and tagged out. It was very dramatic...he wasn't tagged so much as he was shoved down. LOL. He went tumbling down the baseline...was covered in chalk and clay. After that he got a really nice foul ball, but nothing else.
He lost his spot in the top of the line up. He was very upset about that. I am not sure he has ever been at the bottom of the line up.
His coach also yelled at him tonight. Made him cry. LOL. I felt bad for him , but he told him after the game he holds him to a higher standard than the other boys so he is going to be harder on him.

Lily got to spend the entire day at Mattie's house. We went to pick her up from the gym and Mattie said do you mind if Lily hangs out with us so she doesn't have to go to the baseball game. So she got home about 9 tonight. She said she had a good time though. But that means that she didn't get pick out her Easter outfit. Christian picked out everyone's stuff. They all match. LOL. Lily's dress is a little more blue because Christian couldn't find one for her that matched everyone else. But him and Addison will have on the exact same colors. It was very cute. Hopefully Lily likes her dress. Christian put a lot of thought into it.

day 4

Not much to say about day 4.
Ready for day 5 to be over.

Christian did fantastic at practice tonight. He really did. His throws are looking better. He made a sliding stop on his knees. He backhanded a grounder and flipped it to second. It was awesome. He came so very close to catching a pop fly. We have practice tomorrow at 5 for the second team then a game saturday evening. Then another tournament but this time it is in Julington Creek.

day 3

So I missed writing about day 2. Day 2 was hectic.

Day 3 was excruciating. We went through file maintenance and address changes.
The highlight of my day was getting to see the Riverside branch. Jonathan works there now so I got to talk to him. Their branch is awesome. It is so high tech and awesome. The rest of it I zoned out for...she asked me a question one time and I was completely out of the class. I was like "what huh? I'm sorry...what did you say?" Then she gave the new kid a test and had me watch/help him complete his test on file maintenance and address changes.

I am so unimaginably tired though. I am not sure how I am going to do this and not be a complete train wreck by the time you get home. I am so tired...I have no desire to do anything. I got lunches premade and snacks packed. Other than that....the floors didn't get done...the baby's toys are still everywhere. I still have to pay the bills that have come in, and get myself prepared for tomorrow and all I want to do is crawl into bed. Mom keeps folding laundry for me and I haven't even had time or energy to put them away. I will have to get up early tomorrow and put them away.

O get this. I came home today and Addison is pulling up on everything. Mason's little cars stools that he has. She is pushing herself up on them and trying to stand. She can crawl up the first 2 steps of the stairs (guess it's time to keep the baby gate closed). I leave for one week and look at all the stuff she is doing. Not even one week I've been gone 3 days. She did have some separation anxiety tonight. She was fine when I got home, then when we got to church I put her in the high chair so I could go get dinner. She freaked out! It was horrible. She was hysterically crying. It was sad. But I gave her a cracker and she was fine. LOL.
