So we had an extremely late parent meeting about the competition team. OMG! It is so expensive. I am writing a contract for Lily right now saying if she proceeds with cheerleading and we put all this money in it and she doesn't get a scholarship for cheering or dancing she has to pay us back. This is nuts.
I am excited for it though. Our first competition is in Orlando at the ESPN center. The rest are in Jacksonville. So at least we don't have to travel too much.
But nothing else too exciting today. I have a couple more things to get and I will have all the coffee stuff put together for y'all. Oh! Before I forget since I haven't gotten to talk to you. I looked for the coconut coffee, I am going to check Wal-Mart tomorrow, but I haven't been able to find it. I went to Dunkin Donuts and they don't have it. But they guy told me to check Amazon because they carry a lot of Dunkin products. So at first I thought great then I can just ship it directly to you. WRONG! it is $44 for TWO 11oz bags of that coffee! WHAT!?! That is ridiculous. So I am just going to keep my eyes open for it and when I find it I will get it.
I was trying to get to bed early but that is clearly not happening as usual. Ms. Allen asked me to come in tomorrow and help her with some testing. So Addison and I will be helping out in Bubby's class around 1230 for as long as Addison will tolerate it. I went and had lunch with him today...yikes...that was an experience. Watching all these other kids makes me realize just how lucky we really are. I may think they are bad at times but they really aren't. Christian sat quietly, talking, and eating during lunch. Two boys next to me were fighting. The kid across from me was massacring his food...literally...he didn't eat any of it, he just destroyed it. Another kid was throwing his food on the floor. A little boy was sitting there saying over and over (to absolutely nobody) ass, ass, ass, assssssss, ASS!Then I watched a little girl eat a banana peel...the peel! Gross! That couldn't have tasted good. I have a friend who teaches 4th grade there and she came and sat with us for a little while. She was trying to reassure me that lunch is not always as crazy as it is today. I am not sure I believe her...
Well I hope you have a good day. I love you.
