Banned from Petsmart

Well I solved the problem of being uncomfortable with run/walk day. We all over slept. But then to make it even better...we got out the door on time. The light at the corner was messed up...and no lie...it took us over 20 minutes to get through it. So the kids were late to school. UGH!

But seriously the light kept skipping the side roads. Brannen Fields light would turn red...ours would stay red, so would Plantation Oaks it would stay red. Then Brannen Field would turn green again. We finally all just ran the light. Traffic was so backed up.

So poor little Addison is still all stuffy. :( She isn't acting sick though, and she doesn't have a fever, just congested.

Now on to the worst thing that I never could have imagined happening. We weren't banned from PetsMart exactly. I am waiting for a call from the manager. Whiskey had his grooming appointment this morning. I talked to the girl for a long time...she said she would call me after Whiskey's bath to let me know how he was doing and whether or not she was going to cut him. Well...she calls. He's doing great, he's so sweet. I just love him. I'm going to go ahead and cut him, we'll be done in like 30 minutes. Not 10 minutes later I get a call from another groomer...ummmm is Whiskey afraid of other dogs? Well yes sort of why? We're going to need you to come get him...he just bit his groomer and he can't stay here. WHAT!? Yes we put another dog on the table across from him and he got really scared, and Chelsea touched his back legs and Whiskey turned around and bit her in the face. OMG! My dog bit someone in the face!
I cannot believe it. I felt so bad. I cannot even describe how bad I felt...feel. I saw her when I was walking in, and I know any dog bite from a dog his size is bad...but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. She has 3 little puncture wounds where his teeth got her. And luckily (if you can even consider any part of this lucky) it was on the side of her face and not right on her face.
 I just don't know what else I can say. I feel horrible. All of the ladies there says it happens all the time...that it is just part of the job. But this does not happen all of the time with MY dog...so it is not ok.

She is still pretty congested today. Not bad like she was last night.

She gave mom a run for her money today during my test. It took over an hour for me to finish my test and it felt like Addison cried the entire time. She ate, she was changed, and then she just made my mom hate her life.

this girl! it was so windy monday night at practice. She made the stupid face on purpose. Her hair is out of control.

So the kids have run walk day tomorrow. They are starting their run/walk campaign with encouraging kids to walk to school. mmmmmm I don't know how I feel about that. Teachers are supposed to be meeting kids at those apartments and walking with them. I don't want them to do it though, but they really want to. So we have to get up stupid early to have them at the apartments to meet the teachers. Luckily mom works at the school tomorrow, so I am dropping them off and she is going to make sure they are there when she gets there. I am super nervous about them walking to the school though.

So remember how I said that I hope it was just Addison's teeth and she wasn't getting sick. Well I am still hoping that but I think she may have a cold. Poor baby. She went to bed normal time in her crib and she was really restless. She was not sleeping well. Then she woke up really, really upset so I went and got her and she is congested. :( So I made her really upset when I used her little nose sucker thing on her. I opted against her crib tonight since she is not feeling well. She is in her cradle now. But she is sleeping. we'll have to see how she feels tomorrow but I think I am going to bypass the gym tomorrow. Because she is obviously not feeling 100% and I have exams tomorrow. I think I should stay home just in case. Who knows I am probably making excuses.
I really hope she isn't getting sick. But to be honest it wouldn't surprise me with the weather changing and as much time as we spend outside at practices and games. OOO that reminds me, I talked to LeAnn tonight and she said for spring ball Ruben wants Christian on his team. We'll see how that works out, because Christian is still convinced that he doesn't want to play baseball anymore. I think he will change his mind...I hope he changes his mind. But I think once he has a nice break from sports he will feel differently.

I am super excited about Whiskey getting his hair cut on Wednesday. Then maybe...just maybe there won't be dog hair EVERYWHERE...and every time I sweep I won't be able to make a second dog.

No pictures of anything today. I was going to take pictures because Addison looked so stinkin cute, but noooooo someone had to go and pee all over their skirt at the Y. So that threw that plan right out the window.

night 2 in bed

Addison had a rough day today. She was fussy and upset all day today.
If she was awake she was upset. She didn't even want to be held, she was just mad.
They even had to call me at church to come get her early because she was so upset.
But after the kids went to bed she was able to calm down a little and play quietly for about 30 minutes before she was ready for bed.
But we are doing night 2 in her crib. She lasted until about midnight last night so we'll see how she does tonight.
Nothing else too exciting over here. Going to try and go to bed early tonight. I stay up way too late now.

Fall in Florida

Today was so nice and cool. Well I say nice because I dressed appropriately. I offered mom a sweater and she didn't want to bring it and she froze the entire day out at the football field! Christian's team won today. The cheerleaders dropped one of the little girls in a stunt. That is why I am glad Lily is not a flyer. It is scary. I got some pretty good pictures today.

I haven't done much else except lots and lots of football and studying got my final. So homecoming was not this weekend, it is next weekend. Which is very exciting for me...because...I dropped the ball on getting Spirit posters for the kids. So now that I have a whole week to plan for it. I am going to make their Spirit posters. I saw examples of the one the park will make for them...and for $10...they suck! I would rather  pay the donation fee $5 to hang my own poster so they are cool!

Tomorrow is the day! Christian is so excited about being baptized tomorrow :-D

So we are trying this crib stuff again tonight. I am still not real comfortable with it. It gets so cold in there and it is supposed to be in the 50's tonight. What if she gets too cold. We'll see. I may go get her.

Well that was a bust

First...we totally slept all day! I had the worst migraine this morning. Luckily the kids wanted to eat breakfast at school. So I took them to school early, came back home and Addison napped with me until almost 12. It was nice. But it didn't help my headache much.

So I took the clothes to once upon a child today...They didn't even take half of what I took in there. They said they had too many infant clothes and this is all they wanted. I got $21. Frustrating! So I am going to take the rest to Round Robin...hopefully they will take the rest. But now I completely understand why I always here frustrated mom's talk about selling their stuff to once upon a child.

I had dinner with mom tonight, it was nice to not sit at home alone. I was really dreading being home alone.

This is what she does when she fights. She will sit there and talk and talk until she literally passes out in mid conversation. She sat here and talked until she couldn't hold her eyes open anymore and then she just passed out.

Where did the week go?

Well it's probably a good thing the kids talked to their dad today. Because I had no idea today was Thursday...well I mean I knew...but I guess I wasn't paying attention. So they were not ready to leave for weekend tomorrow. I had to sit here after practice and pack their bag. Bleh!

So Ms. Addison got clothes that fit her today. I have everything else all boxed up and ready to go to once upon a child. Hopefully they give us something for all those clothes I am taking. I have 2 boxes of baby clothes to take. Some of the stuff she never even wore which is really sad. I can't believe she is getting so big. It really makes me sad.
O YUCK! She officially had the most disgusting diaper ever! Right after football practice. Thank Goodness she waited until the end because we would have had to leave. I just put her in the bath tub. I couldn't deal with it. Then I washed diapers because I couldn't even think about letting that diaper sit in there until tomorrow.

Well interesting conversation over dinner today. Christian was giving me a hard time with eating. So we were going back and forth about him eating his dinner. Well when he is finally done he cleans up and says "you really made me mad at the table just so you know." I did? Well you made me mad too, so we're even. "No. You REALLY made me mad, and you know what...thank you. I am going to use my anger towards you at football tonight. Like my tackling fuel"
Does that mean that when he is tackling guys out there he is imagining it is me? Should I be happy about that? He did knock the crap out of one kid tonight...was that kid me?

Lily gets in the car after school today and I ask her if that little girl picked on her today. She said "o no...we're friends now"
WHAT!? This morning she didn't want to go to school because of this little heifer and now they are friends?! Girls confuse me.
 It just makes me mad to think about someone being mean to her. She is always so happy and sweet. How could anyone want to be mean to her?

Well Biggie is MIA. I hope he is gone and not out somewhere planning an ambush.
 O the foxes were out this morning. But because I overslept so bad I just jumped up and let the dog out, I didn't check the yard for April or anyone. Well the fox was walking along the fence line and Whiskey went out. The fox crouched down real quick and slowly started to back away. Whiskey never saw him thank goodness!
Which reminds me...I made an appointment for him to be groomed. They are going to shave him and do some sort of undercoat treatment which she said should cut down on at least 80% of his shedding. He is going to be so mad. But I am tired of all the hair.

I have finals next week. :(
I am so ready to be done. I think I took on way too much right now. With Addison, and the kids, and school, and you not being here. I am ready for school to be over and football to be over and I want to go to bed at 8pm again. 3 more weeks...and I should be able to do that. I am pretty sure we are down to our last 3 games.
No more being lazy. Back to the gym tomorrow. I should be out by 1030-1045.
